Wiping out the PI

Recently I received a call from a client who generates alignments in Civil 3D and had a desire to hide the alignment through the geometry points as so:

However when he laid out the alignment he had this:

Now the common sense solution would be to go into the alignment style and add the wipeout circle to the PI points:

Problem is that the wipeout doesn’t work in the style because you cannot control draw order in the style.

However, there is a very simple work around. Use the label style to accomplish what you want. It’s simple. Go into the alignment label set and find the geometry points. In the label style composer add a block:

Click OK out of all the boxes. You’re alignment should appear with the alignments now hidden through the circles.
